The Way Out
The festival is located at OSAAT Farm, 74147 Brookfield Road. On-site parking is limited, however we are also working with surrounding land owners to park on their properties as well. When you will arrive you will drop off your stuff and our volunteers will direct you where to park. If off-site, there will be a shuttle to take you back to the fest! Parking will be $15 per car, available as an add-on to your ticket or separately at 3common.com
From the property owners:
Hi there,
We’re Rob and Tamara Thomson, owners of OSAAT Farm in Seven Sisters Falls, Manitoba. We’re excited to host the Way Out Festival on our beautiful property, featuring nearly 15 acres along the Whitemouth River, with over 800 feet of waterfront.
Our original vision was to create an inclusive, accessible space where our youngest foster daughter could experience life fully: connecting with nature, visiting animals, and enjoying features like an accessible treehouse.
After her unexpected passing in the spring of 2025, we were left heartbroken. In the midst of that loss, we faced additional challenges as a family, making it difficult to fully process before the next wave came. Over time, the idea of honoring her has brought us back into the light.
Today, OSAAT Farm continues to grow as a space for connection, creativity, and community. Alongside our vintage and antique offerings, we’re proud to host events like Way Out Fest and offer accommodations for guests looking to experience the property.
We hope you enjoy your time here and come back again.
- Rob & Tamara

FAQs
Frequently asked questions
Is there drinkable water?
Yes! Please bring reusable water bottles to reduce waste :)
Is there food?
Yes! Food trucks will be open late into the night.
Will there be day passes?
Not likely.
Are tickets going to sell out?
Likely.
How many people will be there?
500!
Can I leave the festival and come back?
Yes! Just make sure you keep your wristband on. If it’s off your wrist it is void.
I bought a ticket but turns out I won’t be able to make it. Can I get a refund?
No. But surely you have a friend who could take it off your hands :)
What time does the festival start?
Gates open at 8:00 AM on the 21st. As the entrance is just off a public road, we kindly ask that you do not show up before 8. There are plenty of great camping spots :) The Love Letters are getting the music started at 5:00 PM.
What time does the festival end?
JD Edwards is closing out the festival and finishing his set around 3:15 PM on the 23rd. You are welcome to hang out until 6:00 PM.
Are there showers?
There are communal cold showers!
Is it wheelchair accessible?
Yes! Please contact us with your specific needs.
Am I allowed to bring drugs?
We do not condone the use of illicit substances at our festival. However if you are going to do them anyway, we have a testing station to measure dose and purity. There is also a dedicated safe, cozy space for if you are having a challenging trip.
What should I bring?
This camping checklist is a good start:
What shouldn’t I bring?
These items are prohibited:
Fireworks, flares, explosives, laser pointers, firearms of any kind
Knives with a blade over 6” long, any item deemed a weapon by security,
Glass bottles, containers, or bongs
Drones
Bluetooth speakers, air horns, megaphones, or sirens
Large structures, high-powered lighting rigs (see Get Involved section, art installations)
Gas generators
Vehicles including bicycles
Animals (except registered service animals)
All items are subject to confiscation at the discretion of security. Any items confiscated will be given back upon exiting the festival.
Is there cell service?
While we’ve been on-site we’ve had good reception. However with 500 people there, service may be spotty. Please plan accordingly. The staff have wi-fi access.
Is there a charging station?
No.
Will there be medical staff on-site?
Yes, we have an amazing team!
Is there a hospital nearby?
The closest hospital is in Pinawa, a 15 minute drive away.
What if there’s rain?
The main stage is covered, and the rave stage is indoors. If weather is severe, there might be some complications. But we’ll party either way :)
